One of our favorite recipes - Cocoa cake with white chocolate glaze. You must definitely try it.

  • 1 cup of wholegrain einkorn flour
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 tbsp. cacao powder
  • 100 g dark chocolate (crushed)
  • 100 g white chocolate
  • 125 g butter (melted)
  • 2-3 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Melt the butter (do not bring to a boil).
  2. Use a whisk to mix the eggs and sugar in a large bowl. Add the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl mix the flour, cacao powder, salt and baking soda. Sift through the dry mixture at least twice in order to mix the ingredients well.
  4. Slowly add 100 g of the melted butter to the egg mixture, while stirring continuously with a wooden spoon. *don’t poor the butter while it is still too hot
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and stir well.
  6. Spread the rest of the butter on the bottom of the cake mold and sprinkle with 1 tbsp. cacao powder. Add the cake mix and spread the pieces of dark chocolate on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees, for about 35-40 minutes.
  8. When the cake is ready let it cool down for 5 minutes and turn it over and take it out of the baking tray on an appropriate platter. Let it cool down.
  9. Use a water bath to melt the white chocolate – add 2-3 tbsp. oil.
  10. Decorate the cake with the melted white chocolate and your Easter cake will be finished!
