Quick and easy recipe for cacao biscuits with crushed almonds and chocolate.

  • 1 cup of wholegrain einkorn flour
  • ¼ cup of raw cacao powder
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of butter
  • Vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 25 g culinary chocolate (crushed)
  • 20 g crushed almonds
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Use a whisk to mix the butter and sugar.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients – einkorn flour, vanilla extract, cacao powder, salt, cinnamon, almonds and chocolate. Stir well until a thick homogenous mixture.
  3. Leave the dough in the freeer for 20 minutes.
  4. Shape the dough into flat balls with the size of a walnut. Arrange the cookies on baking paper, used to cover your baking tray.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170-180 degrees, for about 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool down and they are ready to be served.
