Method:

1. Mix the sugar, salt and baking soda with the butter and use a water bath to melt. Let the mixture cool down for 10-15 minutes.
2. Add the egg and vanilla extract and stir until a smooth and thick mixture.
3. Add the chocolate chips.
4. The mixture needs to turn into a dry dough. Add more flour if needed.
5. Shape the cookies and place them evenly spaced out on an oiled baking tray.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 165 degrees, for 13 minutes, and then rotate the tray.
7. Let them cool down for about 5 minutes before taking them out of the tray.
