Quick recipe for muffins with sour cherries.

Ingredients (20-25 muffins):

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 250 g yogurt
  • Baking soda
  • 100 g butter (melted)
  • 2.5 cups of einkorn flour
  • vanilla extract
  • 20-25 sour cherries (fresh or frozen)


  1. Beat the eggs into foam with a whisk in a large bowl.
  2. Add the sugar, butter and vanilla.
  3. Mix again with the whisk and add the yogurt and baking soda.
  4. Add the flour in gradually while stirring with a spoon until all ingredients mix together.
  5. Pour the mixture into muffin tins and place 1 or 2 sour cherries into each muffin.
  6. Bake the muffins at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
  7. When the muffins cool down sprinkle with caster sugar.
